The surrender of this donation was signed by Kosovo Police Director General Samedin Mehmeti and UNDP permanent representative to Kosovo Maria Sukko.
A brief presentation of the dogs in action by members of the “K9” was made to participants.
This donation, according to Mehmet, testifies to the strong co-operation of the Kosovo Police with the UNDP.
Today's “Donation aims to support the Kosovo Police in further establishing police productivity in preventing smuggling, detection and seizure of illegal weapons, ammunition and explosives”, he added.
The UNDP's permanent representative to Kosovo, Maria Sukoko, stressed that under extraordinary circumstances caused by the pandemic, they are challenged to continue providing services to all people in the most efficient way possible.
