We should stress that Vetevendosje of the national union had a slogan, never a project”, Murati indicated.
On the other hand, Murati said he used this banner for populist purposes and used it to get votes.
So he had a banner to get votes, he had a populist banner, he used it depending on the context and the layers of the population, but it's never been an elaborate project when we're considering all the obstacles we've got to get down to the” union, Murati added.
He also said that before talking about national union, Kosovo must solve problems with Serbia.
Before you talk about national unity, we have to solve problems with Serbia. To get to the national union, which I believe we have to come because there is no other solution, we have to go through this agreement (with Serbia)”, Murati added.
