Murati: Kurti doesn't make excuses now, make constitutional changes for the National Union

Albin Kurti has declared today in Lezha that the National Union is impossible because of the Kosovo Constitution. But this statement has not been well received in Kosovo by people who have believed in such an idea. Valon Murati leading the Movement for the Union has not spared himself a pronouncement for Periscope [...]
Murati has told Periscope that Kurti has had to show how to make the constitutional changes necessary to open the door to the Union of Kosovo with Albania, rather than say things already known.
The incoming “prime minister has been promoting his unification and implementation with a referendum for years. He has never shown how the constitution will be changed as a precondition of union. There is no doubt that this was a typical electoral population” Mr. Murati.
The chairman of the Movement for the Union has indicated that Kurti should not issue excuses at this time of gaining power.
He has again proposed the idea of exchanging territories with Serbia, and changing the Kosovo Constitution, to reach the National Union.
In recent years there is a faint desire for the National Union in Kosovo.
Mr. Murati:
That Kosovo Constitution prohibits the unification of Kosovo with Albania this has been known since Pako's principles Ahtisaari has become part of this constitution. That, in general, with its regulations, this constitution makes Kosovo dysfunctional, as well as known. One of the biggest troubles is the fact that the Constitution cannot change without 2/3 of minority deputies, subsequently without the Serbian List vote. And it is also known that there is no law for referendum, but even if there were, it would have no power to change the constitution (even with referendum under the constitution can't be changed even the laws that belong to eight areas of vital interest for minorities, let alone the constitution).
But knowing all of these incoming prime ministers for years has propagand its unification and implementation with the referendum. He has never shown how the constitution will be changed as a precondition of union. There is no doubt that this has been a typical electoral population.
The union of Kosovo with Albania is not only right but also necessary for socio-economic development, as well as consolidation of the security plan for the Albanian nation in the Balkans. That being so, the incoming prime minister should not now issue arguments that the constitution does not allow us to join, but to show what the path of constitutional changes is, which not only opens the door to the union but, above all, create conditions for consolidating the state. Kosovo.
In current circumstances there is no other way than through talks with Serbia to reach an agreement on redefining borders ( Eastern Kosovo with Kosovo, three municipalities in the north with Serbia) and as its product change Kosovo's constitution. With a deal like that, it could be talked about the possibilities of joining. But such an agreement is the only one that also makes Kosovo a fully functional state and takes Serbia away from Kosovo eventually. Any agreement that includes association, or continues with status quo, means Serbia will be present in Kosovo through mechanisms the constitution has envisioned for the Serb community. Through them will gradually work on defunct state Kosovo.
