Kosovo's Special Prosecutor on Tuesday has detained two persons for misuse of official office during the elections and accepting or taking bribes in connection with the vote.
Through a media communiqué, the prosecution suggests that the detainees are A.K. and S.M.
After Arber Krasniqi, Sahit Mataj is the second commissioner to have been arrested for manipulation of votes at the Recounting Centre and Results.
The prosecution's action comes after publishing a video recording featuring vote manipulations, part of which is suspected to be Dardan Stublla, the husband of the former Kosovo diplomat and the AAK MP candidate Melza Haradinaj Stublla.
Following these reports, Haradinaj Stublla resigned from the position of foreign minister and Diaspora on Tuesday, and from all positions in the AAK.
Many other candidates for MPs from political subjects have expressed dissatisfaction, many of whom have called for total recounting of votes.
