Teacher day is a holiday dedicated to educational staff of schools and universities.
This date has its early beginning, to remind of the first foundations of the Albanian school, in fact it has begun to remember, since 1960, when the Albanian state decided that this day would be a celebration of the founding of the first Albanian Teacher of Korca, which was founded on March 7, 1887.
The teacher's party on the national level serves to assess the best traditions of the Albanian school, no doubt even the honorable figure of teachers but also all education workers as teachers of the younger generation and as active contributors to the development and progress of Albanian society.
Until the early 1990 ' s in Albania, to promote the teaching of a superior quality, the best - known teachers were rewarded with the high decorations that were the Master of Merit and the Teacher of the People. /kp
