Who is Lumir Abdixhiku, the new LDK chairman?

Abdixhiku, in December 1989, when the LDK was being established, was only six years old. And now, 31 years later, as 37 years old, he managed to become chairman of this party.
He received 190 votes in this process, or more than half to be declared mayor in the first round.
Abdixhiku will be the fourth chairman of the Democratic League after Ibrahim Rugova [1989-2006], Fatmir Sejdiu [2006-2010] and Isa Mustafa [2010-2021].

The political career he started only four years ago, becoming part of the LDK because of ideological beliefs.
He was born on April 22nd 1983 in Pristina and holds the PhD for Economy from Staffordshire University in England. He had long led the Riinvest Institute, the oldest and largest <x0think-tank” in Kosovo, where he had opted for privatisation, economic development and democratisation in the country.
He has been deputy of the Kosovo Assembly in its VI legislature, and has been elected to the post even in the VII legislature.
The new LDK chairman had been Minister of Infrastructure at Kurti Government that stemmed from short partnership V V-LDK. /Periscope
