The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), yesterday, has held the Electoral Assembly, where after the voting process, the president was elected Lumir Abdixhiku.
Immediately after assuming his post as LDK chairman, Obadiah took three actions.
Initially he declared before the media that I will not be able to go to the meeting invited by LVV chairman Albin Kurti and U.d. of President Vjosa Osmani to talk about the institution's constitutionalisation, the first to be held today.
Abdixhik said that it is impossible to attend this meeting, and I propose that the same be held on Friday, Telegrafi writes.
The first thing I'm going to do tomorrow is come up in the LDK offices, but I'm unable to consolidate our party organs for tomorrow's meeting. I propose Friday as the date of the evental meeting in the same format as has been proposed”, Abdixhiku said.
The next decision the new LDK chairman made was Isa Mustaf's announcement as chairman of honour. This was made known through an announcement from the LDK.
“With the proposal of LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, Academy Isa Mustafa is appointed honorary chairman”, the report said.
Following these two decisions, the LDK Assembly authorised the chairman to comply with another 10 countries, members of the Council General as part of the party opening.
From the list published by the LDK, the General Council will have 131 members, including branch heads and elected deputies.
Abdixhiku has managed to get over 190 votes from 329 delegates who have voted, having managed to elect mayor in the first round.
Lutfi Haziri and Bessian Mustafa were also in the race for the post. Haziri has received 117 votes, while Mustafa has only 16.
The newly elected chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has all thanked for their support of becoming LDK leader.
