LDKA official reacts to Cerwer for the Embassy in Jerusalem

University professor Muhamet Hamiti has reacted to US professor of John Hopkins University Daniel Cerwer, over statements on the issue of placing the Kosovo Embassy in Jerusalem in Israel. Hamiti, via Facebook, has said that Cererwer should be aware that the host country personally determines where to place the embassy [...]
Hamiti, by means of Fawcebook, has said that Cerwer must be aware that the host country personally appoints where to place the friendly state embassy, with which he has established diplomatic relations.
As far as the embassy is concerned, it belongs to Kosovo where it wants to be decided. He's done an easy job! Indeed, the host country appoints its capital and, therefore, the location of the friendly countries' embassies, with which it has established diplomatic relations. That's all Daniel Serwer” should know, says in his writing.
The recogniser of Western Balkan issues has said that priority for Kosovo is Israel's diplomatic recognition.
“I personally prefer that the embassy not be deployed in Jerusalem. The main thing is Israel's recognition. This is worth something”, he said.
