The Democratic League of Kosovo through a media communique has shown the reason for today's visit by US Ambassador Philip Costet to the party headquarters.
Through a media report, the LDK has made it known that Costett was also hosted by Parliament's deputy head, Metom Shala, and the party's deputy chairman, Lutfi Haziri.
The discussion of this meeting was the elections within the LDK and the positions faced by the current political situation in Kosovo.

Today, LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku accompanied by deputy chairman Mr. Haziri and Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Shala, they've been waiting for the United States ambassador to the meeting. Philip Costnet.
During the meeting, President Abdixhiku announced Ambassador Costnet about the LDK's democratic elections and positions regarding the current political situation in Kosovo. President Abdixhiku also announced Ambassador Costnet's constructive role that the LDK will have in opposition.
