The VV had won 58 deputies in the February 14th elections, but to elect the president, the presence of 80 deputies in the Assembly Hall took place.
Albin Kurti's party has the support of even some minority deputies. However, this party also needed the support of at least one opposition party [ PDK or LDK.
Currently, Vetevendosje has assumed the position of prime minister and Speaker of the Parliament, writes Periscopi.

If Vetevendosje were to preserve these 67 votes, with 15 deputies as long as the LDK has, it would ensure the presence of 82 deputies by passing the constitution's required condition.

Whether the entire LDK parliamentary group has agreed with the decision is unknown.
Agim Veliu, Avdullah Hoti and Driton Selmanaj may be key to failing to ensure the presence needed for Osman if they decide to go against the party's decision.
