Veliu and Rugova, who were long-standing party vice president, will no longer be in those positions.
With the nomination of President Lumir Abdixhiku and the approval of the General Council, new LDK deputy chairmans have been elected Anton Kuni, Gazmend Mudzier and Lutfi Haziri and Albanian Medici.
The General Assembly has also chosen new headship, whose names will be published during the day.
