Lawyer boycott stopped at Pristina Prosecutor and Special

“The boycott break was made after OAK Chairman Behar Ejupi, along with Deputy Chairman Naim Rudari, held meetings with KPK Chief Commissioner Jetish Maloku and his associates, thus reaching agreement on the elimination of lawyers' access barriers to prosecutorial system”, the Office of Lawyers announced.
After several meetings, Chairman Ejupi along with Prime Minister Maloku reached agreement, so that the KKP today on March 10th 2021 has drafted a special guide for accessing lawyers to Kosovo's prosecutorial system, which the directive has been approved today by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
The guidance in question defines the approach of lawyers to the facilities of the prosecutorial system at the republic, in a way that does not affect the dignity of the lawyer while on the other side respect the safety procedures of the prosecutorial system.
A series of other issues affecting the direct interest of lawyers were discussed during these meetings, and that soon, it will be worked in close co-ordination with the KKP for resolving all issues that are in the interest of the two institutions, but also in the best interests of the justice system in general”, their announcement concludes.
