EU Special Emissar for Kosovo Dialogue- Serbia Miroslav Lajcak declared tonight in Belgrade that the European Union expects Pristina and Belgrade to implement “everything that has been achieved in the dialogue process in the last 10 years” as part of the dialogue.
He at a media conference after meeting with Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq said the EU expects continued dialogue constructively.
“Dialogue is key to both sides in order to advance on the European road. The status quo is not good for any party,” he said.
Lajcak said dialogue is essential for progress on the road to the EU.
“Member States expect dialogue to continue constructively and confidently. We have no interest in preserving the status quo,” he said.
He noted that the EU expects both sides to implement everything that has been achieved in the dialogue process in the past 10 years.
Lajcak said the EU has a good history of relations with the United States and that it is now turning to co-operation with the United States.
