He issued that statement during a conference in Tirana, when he was asked whether he would coalition with any of the local parties or the Serbian List.
He confidently expressed no need for such a compromise.
We'll be around 60 deputies. We will surely have Egyptian community deputy Elbert Krasniqi, we will surely have Bosnian community deputy Emilia Rexhepi, we will have several more. We need 61. We won't need compromises with old regime explorers because the people want it back. The people have cut it down, we don't intend to violate the will of let it deviate from the will of”, Kurti said.
Of the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, held on 14 February, according to preliminary results, Vetevendosje Movement has won 47.85 per cent of the vote, the Democratic Party of Kosovo 17.41 per cent, while the Democratic League of Kosovo has won 13.08 per cent, and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has won 7.43 per cent of the vote.
