Kurti calls for halting the budget deterioration: Says his government will have money to stabilise the economy
VV chairman Albin Kurti has called on the outgoing government Hoti to stop recruiting, noting and misconsuming public money. Through a Facebook message, Kurt says the budget is getting worse by reasoning with the pandemic. Kurti highlights that the new government will lack the means to stabilise the economy.
“D would lack the country's budget and new government, very important financial tools that would have been used mainly to ensure the rapid stabilisation of economic activity”, writes Kurti, escort Periscope.
He writes:
Stop recruiting, nominating, and misconsuming public money
Since the Kosovo Constitutional Court ruling, which declared the Hoti government unconstitutional and sent the country to extraordinary elections, the outgoing government was very active in two ways:
- Budget failure under the mask of confronting pandemic, but largely with the aim of influence on electoral support. Vaccines as the main preventer of pandemic distribution have not yet been provided, while the time for the start of the vaccine is not known until today, a year after the proclamation of pandemic, as they have continued with approval of highway expropriations! It would lack the country's budget and new government, very important financial means that would have been used primarily to ensure the rapid stabilisation of economic activity.
- Daily appointments in the leadership positions of those close to the power, with the aim of, despite the loss of governance, sabotage the government's incoming work by leaving behind leadership work not part of the new government but the potential of its obstruction. He ran after interviews, nominations, recruits and appointments to public companies (both in their management and on board), executive agencies, regulators, clinics, or ministry department director is not stopping.
I want to make very clear both about government in flight and about those who have, by or by will, become part of this great misuse, that:
- Any interview, nomination, recruiting or appointment should be immediately interrupted and not continued until the new government's vote. Each appointment signed after the collapse of the anti-unconstitutional government will be cancelled in the first week of governance, and that can only harm the persons involved.
- Any decision that has meant uncontrolled spending of public money after the collapse of the anti-unconstitutional government will be audited and normal responsibility-seeking procedures will be initiated for any misuse.
I feel it necessary to restore that only new institutions stemming from the will of the February 14th elections have the mandate to ensure the advancement of public institutions, including companies of particular importance and regulators or executive agencies.
