How are you seeing the last comments from the incoming prime minister, Albin Kurti, for the embassy's deployment in Jerusalem?
BAZE:
Prime Minister-elect Albin Kurti's comments show that Kosovo has chosen prime minister a coward who cannot face Kosovo's main and major problems. Faced with Turkish pressure and the US project for recognising Kosovo by Israel, Albin Kurti is showing a lack of integrity and decision-making that is essential to a leader. Endorsing the Washington Agreement by him actually means denying Israel's recognition, which I hope will not allow anyone to do. If he does, he has declared war on Kosovo first and then on the US. I don't think you win this war.
PERISCOP:
Do you think the administration of Joe Biden will reconsider the Washington Agreement because Vetevendosje is claiming this agreement will not be respected and believes in Biden for a review?
BAZE:
The US administration is the administration that operates on the principles of the American state and its long-term strategy and not on the whims of presidents. President Biden's administration has clearly said it welcomes that agreement and expects it to be implemented. This “euphyria” that Biden is going to be gentle with Kurt different than Trump is urban legend. Beden is really different from Trump, but in our destiny he knows Kosovo so well that no one can deceive him. In this respect, Kurt would have it easier with Trump than he knew very well where Kosovo was falling, while Beden names and surnames most of Kosovo's political class.

How do you view Kurt's game with his priorities? Displaced from position 6-7 to 4?
BAZE:
The game is the sign of fear he has to face tasks as Kosovo prime minister at this time. He wants to be victimised again, “on behalf of nation”, as if the US is leaving the government and withdrawing it to its agenda. That politician will see his whole life being the victim that doesn't let Kosovo do, then join Albania and other fairy tales. Typically, the quality of a populist and hypocritical leader, whose failures try to inspire others in the name of patriotism.

Do you believe that Mr. Kurti will reinstate the reciprocity measure and which would most likely be unable to bring the dialogue back with Serbia?
BAZE:
Kurt will try everything to do not do anything for Kosovo. That could be one of these crazy things.
PERISCOP:
What do you believe would be the consequences for Kosovo if Kurti with his rule decided to boycott dialogue despite international calls?
BAZE:
If that happens then Albin Kurti will change Kosovo's position with those of Serbia in 1999. At that time, Serbs' refusal to sign Rambouille brought Serbia's bombing and victory for Albanians. Now Kurti's refusal will bring Serbia's victory and question Kosovo's future. A greater honour than that of Serbia no one has done. /Periscope
