The number of people who have overcame COVID-19 is 64,362, while active cases are 10,630.
Recently, Kosovo has registered increased cases of coronary cases. In spite of that, incumbent Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti said the same measures, against the pandemic, would remain in force.
Kosovo is the only state in the Western Balkans that has not yet secured any doses of the vaccine against the Coronavirus. The incumbent government has declared that in late March the first container of vaccines from the COVAX programme is expected to arrive.
From COVAX, which is a World Health Organisation programme, Kosovo is expected to provide a total of 100,800 doses of vaccine produced by British company AstraZeneca in co-operation with Oxford University.
