Nine days after confirming the first two cases with COVID-19, this virus took life from the first person in Kosovo.
When it has been a year since confirmation of the first cases, the total number of people affected by this virus has increased to 76 thousand and 688 positive cases, cures of 64 thousand and 362 people until the lives of 1 thousand and 696 patients have been killed.
Acting Health Minister Andmend Zemaj has spoken for Klan Kosovo. It says Kosovo has been and remains an example of how the pandemic is managed.
But is that number expected to grow and how much immunity has been reached?
“The site is under ongoing monitoring. Institutions are doing everything to be controlled and manageable all the time. There's room for improvement, we can do better and more. We're hoping to do our best in protecting citizens' health. It is imperative that even at this time respect for anti - COVID-19 be as good as possible. Each institution should be in charge of task”, Zemaj said.
