KEDS has hired over 400 field workers to intervene in areas infected after the bad weather that swept the country. Since yesterday, dozens of our teams have been scattered throughout the country, doing their best to sabotage the damage done on the network as soon as possible.

Teams are working over and over again, with all available capacities so that consumers can get their power supply back.

The present - day wicked weather has caused damage to the network. The areas that are more infected by the damage caused on the network are: Peja, Gjakova, Prizren, Ferizaj and part Pristina and Mitrovica.

Persistent snowfalls have made it more difficult in the peripheral and mountainous areas, penetrate to the grid-showing adventure, but our teams are making the maximum effort for even those areas to weather damage and restore power supply.

KEDS is making real-time network monitoring through the Kosovanet programme, where the auditing of independence is being made in record time already through the SCADA system is allowing for monitoring substations and faster intervention by our teams.

KEDS appeals to citizens to co-operate with field teams and if they see any actions on the network report it through the Call Centre in free numbers: 0800 791 00 and the company's social networks.
