Isa Mustafa resigned from the party leader after 11 years of leadership and was elected today Lumir Abdixhiku, while Lutfi Haziri and Besian Mustafa were also in the race.
After being elected to the post of first LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku has announced that Isa Mustafa has been declared chairman of the party's honour.
“Isa Mustafa is declared chairman of honour!”, said in an LDK post on Facebook.
The Democratic League of Kosovo in the recent parliamentary elections received about 13 per cent of the vote, which many saw as the result of Vjosa Osman's departure, due to disagreements with exactly Isa Mustaf.
