The Infectious Clinic at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK) has already started preparations for the beginning of the vaccine of health personnel with the AstraZeneca vaccine, which has arrived Sunday in Kosovo.
The health professionals of this clinic have been on the front line for more than a year now in the struggle with the Devov-19 pandemic.
During yesterday's first day with AstraZeneca was vaccinated by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, the OBS official in Kosovo, Isme Humolou, nignolog, Sali Ahmeti, and actor Selman Jusuf. The vaccine took place in October “1th October” in Pristina.
Even today, the vaccine of doctors and nurses in Hall “1 October” will continue.
In Kosovo on March 28th, the first container of 24,000 doses of vaccines by the AstraZeneca company, arrived.
Kosovo has received these vaccines as donations from Kosovo from the World Health Organisation's COVAX programme.
The vaccine of British company AstraZeneca, which has developed in collaboration with Oxford University, is said to be 76 percent effective against COVID-19.
