The assembly of the Steering Council of the Democratic Party of Kosovo is continuing with closed doors.
Chairman-in-chief Enver Hoxhaj has indicated that there are concrete steps with the main theme for analyzing the February 14th election result.
There is a very constructive debate about the February 14th election outcome. There are very concrete steps on what we should do in local elections. There is also debate on the decision they should make in the Kosovo Assembly over the coming days. And since we have an internal dialogue, we have internal democracy, I expect members of the Steering Council to come up with what our position will be on many processes that await Kosovo”, Hoxhaj said.
Hoxhaj has also been asked about the president's case and the debate on this topic at the Steering Council meeting.
I have insisted that it be declared because in our documents, in our policy regulations as a political party it is precisely the right of the Steering Council to make decisions on post-election or pre-election coalitions. This is not the pre-election coalition, but it is the concrete situation”, Hoxhaj said.
Hoxhaj has added that the party he is leading will come out with a new political platform, focused also on local elections to be held in the fall.
