Shala, who left the Fatmir Limaj Initiative, failed to win enough votes to win seats in the Parliament with Ramush Haradinaj's AAKA.
The AAK ranked fourth in the 14 February elections, receiving only eight deputies.
Meanwhile, Haxhi Shala, who on the AAKA list competed with number 10, received 5 thousand and 7 votes, not enough to become part of the eighth legislature of the Kosovo Assembly.
Haxhi Shala's vote was the 61st and crucial vote for the Avdullah Hoti government, which collapsed following the Constitutional Court Act that resulted in the dissolution of the Parliament and holding new parliamentary elections.
