“I can't believe they said this is what happened to me”, Vasfije Krasniqi says she confessed the story only to her 18-year-old brother.

She had publicly shown that she had been raped by a Serb police officer during wartime.

Today Krasniqi says she first spoke with the brother, who was only 18 years old at the time, while her mother had failed to tell, though she had realized the moment Krasniqi had gone home.

I talked to my little brother first. Eighteen years old was my brother and I was 16. Nanna didn't need to tell her how I got home. But I can't tell you, that's what happened to me. I'm back in the terrible house”, Krasniqi said in Rubik.

She says they have been forced to flee to a mountain because she was threatened that if she relates what had happened, they would return.

They said if you tell anyone we came back, then we left too early, we went to a mountain. I was afraid to stay. Even in the mountain as far as we've been standing, I just wanted to die because I couldn't imagine falling into their hands again, she says.
