What are the changes of the LDK since Isa Mustaf's resignation from the position of the first party in Kosovo?
On March 14th, 328 LDK delegates gathered to elect the new chairman of the party.
Lumir Abdixhiku has received the confidence of more than half of the delegates, winning 191 delegates' votes.
He has received sufficient votes from party delegates to be elected in the first round, thus defeating two of his counterCandids, Lutfi Haziri and Besian Mustafa.
A week after the new chairman's election, Obadiah has held the meeting of the LDK General Council, thus choosing the new chairmanship.
Four new vice heads were selected for this meeting: Anton Quinn, Gazmend Muhajer, Lutfi Haziri and Albanian Blackbear.

These figures, which have long been in leadership positions in the LDK, have replaced the party with new ones. They have been replaced by names like Albanian Medici, who has been elected LDK deputy chairman.
Part of the new leadership will also be Alban Zogaj, Sibel Halimi and Faton Bislimi of Muhamet Hamiti.
Even though Veliu has not made any public reaction in this regard, Hakki Rugova has spoken to the media, who has said it was the Council General's decision and that there is nothing wrong with why he has remained out of office.

Lumir Abdixhiku is officially the fourth consecutive chairman in the LDK, following historic President Ibrahim Rugova, former leader Fatmir Sejdiu and former leader Isa Mustaf, who recently left the party's direction.
