HANDICOS accepts 253 aid equipment from Rotary Club Pristina International

HANDICOS today has had the pleasure of accepting a contingent of 253 aid devices for disabled persons from RKRAR Club Pristina International”, with the support of the Society “Convoi der Hoffnung”.

Patience Gashi from HANDICOS has expressed thanks for this donation, stressing that these equipment has been very necessary and in absentia, due to high costs as well.

 The “Contingition we've taken with aid devices is of different natures. They are missing from us, they are many, and they are very expensive. My colleagues and I just started identifying people who need these devices. All they have to pass through a process of assessment”, Gashi said.

Krenare Piraeus-Nouci, project co-ordinator at the Rotary Club Pristina International RCPI, said this is a big help and all collaborators have made the right to this donation.

While Savele Aliu Sahiti from “convoi der Hoffnung” has thanked all those who contributed to bringing this donation to HANDIOS.

I want to say hello to the mrgata, who made the transport. I'm feeling happy and I hope they go where they need”, Aliu- Sahiti said.

Marjan Dema, member and former president of RCPI, he said that Rotary has always found the right format to extend his helping hand especially to this category in need.

“Rotry has always found ways to extend the helping hand, and in this case for individuals of special needs and very advanced tools that have helped these people”, Dema said.
