Habib Zogaj's confession to the Source massacre: Serbian forces tried to wipe out crime tracks

Nor was the village of Burim of the Malisheva municipality spared Serb forces 22 years ago. The Source massacre on March 31st 1999 is the largest massacre in the Malisheva region, where 42 civilians were massacred, most of them from the villages of Dragobil and Astrazup, as well as three residents of the Suhareka municipality, who had taken refuge in this section. Habib Zogaj, who was then a journalist and war reporter of Radio Free Kosovo and Kosovo News Agency “KosovoPress”, managed to document through the photograph of all the horror that Serbian forces caused in 22 years ago.

In a confession to Kosovo Preress, Zogaj shows how the massacre took place on the innocent population on this side.

He says in this massacre Serbian paramilitary and military forces used axes, strong tools and things and then tried to remove troops to eliminate traces of massacre.

All that happened 22 years ago is documented by the former Kosovo commissioner, who says he is willing to hand over to the institutions, but says that because of heavy content, he would like them to be archived until the family is alive.
