The quake has been at a 10km local depth, while it has been felt for seconds by citizens who have emerged terrified in open environments.
The shake also felt in Athens and other parts of Western Greece, while the duration of the earthquake was quite long.
After the severe quake recorded about three hours ago, many more posthumations have been recorded.
So far there are no reports of victims or injuries, but people in Larissa have filled the streets, leaving homes and homes.
