Chancellor Angela Merkel and the governors of 16 countries agreed late Wednesday on this balance of measures, after about nine hours of talks.
The rules of current isolation would last until Sunday.
“We have to take steps towards opening, but, at the same time, steps that do not turn us back”, Chancellor Merkel said before journalists in Berlin.
“There are many examples in Europe for a third dramatic wave of”, she said.
Merkel pledged that the 20-x0> admission of 2021 will be different from the spring of the year before”.
Germany has recorded over 2.4 million cases of Corleone and over 71,000 casualties.
Most of the shops there have been closed since 16 December.
Restaurants, bars and sports facilities are closed on November 2nd, while hotels are allowed to work only to accommodate business travelers.
Up to this week, only 5.3 percent of the German population have been given the first dose of a coronary vaccine, while 2.7 percent of the population have received two doses.
On Wednesday, the country's leaders agreed to change the regulation, to speed up the vaccine.
Merkel said that “s want to exploit all flexibility”, extending the time between two doses of the vaccine as much as possible, to enable more people to take the initial dose.
The doses of vaccines approved in the European Union are recommended to be given by a three-week difference.
