German Minister Helge Bronn, who is also a physician, has warned that vaccines can be introduced that can withstand vaccines.
Brown made this prediction in an interview for “Bild am Sonntag”.
Brown has said this is the most dangerous phase of COVID-19 pandemic.
“If the infection figures are reportedly raised during the vaccine phase, then the risk of showing a new virus mutation that may be immune to vaccines increases. In this case, we need a new vaccine. We have to start from the first”, Brown said, aide to German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
He has added that it is too early to ease the measures.
He has said he expects the effects of the vaccine to be observed by May when the weather begins to heat up.
He added that travel may be possible again in August.
