However, he has said that the sooner a solution is found, the better.
He has stressed that it is in the interest of all, especially the citizens of Serbia, to find sustainable solutions for all open issues within dialogue.
“Normisation in principle also means that people in Serbia and Kosovo will visit each other and do business with each other, without unnecessary bureaucratic barriers. The sooner all existing problems related to normalisation are resolved, the better for Serbia and the entire region. This will make Serbia and Kosovo much closer to the goal of EU membership, “, he stressed.
The German ambassador also stated that forming institutions in Pristina is essential for continuing dialogue.
“It is good that Lajcak visited Pristina and Belgrade. It was important to continue communication when it comes to topics of such importance as normalizing relations. I am convinced that dialogue on normalisation will be renewed soon. But first we must wait for the formation of the government in Pristina “, potential Schieb.
He adds that the common goal of the EU and the US is the full normalisation of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
“We agree with our American partners, our common goal is full normalisation between Serbia and Kosovo. The United States supports the normalisation process under the auspices of the European Union”, he has said further.
