Global warming, according to him, is of utmost importance when it comes to such predictions.

“Situate will deteriorate as natural ecosystems disappear. Migrating from areas around the equator will be massive because of rising temperatures. If the Earth gets too warm, it won't be able to afford it in”, the billionaire says. According to him, the chances for a better future will depend on the choices each of us make.

Asked whether zero emissions target can be achieved by 2060, Gates stressed that “this depends on new generations. If they work in this direction, and they see this as a moral cause to which we all have an obligation to be attentive, then I think we might have 75% chances of success”. He pointed out that people need to be more careful about what they consume, to think about the environment by prefering ecological products and synthetic meat, because cattle that grow for their meat, as he said, contribute to the Metan gas emissions, that have reached record levels.
