“Starting on Friday, it will no longer be necessary for a convincing reason to travel to or from Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore“, the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The restrictions were approved five weeks ago to halt a spread of new coronary variants, the euronews writes.
However, the statement notes that the so - called British version has now spread widely in France, making it a ban on trivial travel.
People travelling to and from these seven countries involved in new regulations will have to present a negative test PCR conducted less than 72 hours before departure.
Despite a recent rise in infections, France has so far avoided a third national impasse.
