A Facebook statement reportedly beginning on Thursday “all political and electoral ads in Albania must come from authorised advertisers”, as well as include in them by whom they are sponsored. They must be authorised in the country, the AP writes.
Albania holds parliamentary elections on 25 April. Because of pandemic, the election campaign will likely be held more on social networks.
Albania has strict counter measures COVID-19, including overnight restriction, obligation to wear a mask, and ban the gatherings of more than 10 people.
