Hoxhaj has charged both these leaderships for “mos-guxim”, “mos-reservation” and “experience” to properly mark such a decisive step for our state.
For several weeks, Israel's top state authorities have officially welcomed the ruling coalition and the winning coalition of elections to open the embassy in Jerusalem, but no one has confirmed the turnout. None of these two coalition officials have responded to letters and phone calls regarding this process. Hoxhaj, who is expected to be the incoming government's chief opponent, passes Periscopi.
It has further denounced <x0-seconds understanding” or “ambiguity”, promoted especially by Albin Kurti, who had been reluctant to take the step in the matter.
Kurti had declared that she would consider such a step, following opposing letters she had received from Turkish President Erdogan and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, respectively.
Hoxhaj has also been chief of Kosovo diplomacy during the Mustafa government. /Periscope
Full status:
A government in the past and an incoming government had no courage, no determination or experience to mark the opening of the Kosovo Embassy in Israel, leaving a bitter taste of the entire process of recognition between our two countries.
For several weeks, Israel's top state authorities have officially hosted the ruling coalition and the winning election coalition to open the embassy in Jerusalem, but no one has confirmed the turnout. None of those two coalition officials has responded to letters and phone calls regarding the process. On the contrary, afraid, in panic and irresponsible, have fled participation for a very important recognition of Kosovo. They have abandoned their constitutional and political role to represent and protect the interests of our state.
The durability weakens Kosovo, while strategic clarity increases its international credibility. Trusting that such situations will not be repeated in the future, I thank the US and Israel for recognising and beginning a new chapter between states, people and our economies
