Citizens of the Presevo municipality will vote today in early local elections, where they must elect their 38 representatives in the municipal assembly.
There are 41,600 voters who will elect one of seven political subjects, who aspire to be participants in the exercise of local government in the next four years.
Until there are 38 polling stations. In the race, however, there are six Albanian parties and a Serb list -- a coalition consisting of eight Serbian parties.
Ardita Sinani of the Party for Democratic Action is the only female candidate aimed at returning to the municipality's helm. For the first of the municipality in the race, however, is Shqim Arifi from the Alternative for Change, Ragmi Mustafa from the ranks of the Albanian Democratic Party, Naser Azazi from the ranks of the Albanian Democratic Union, Armendi Aliu from the Albanian Democratic Alternative, as well as Sami Salihu from the Movement for Reform.
Otherwise, the municipal assembly was distributed in mid-December 2020, because no session has been held since 27 August 2020.
