Canal authorities have declared that 14 contractors will engage to evacuate 18,300 containers with goods from the ship -- this is thought to start accomplishing on Sunday, the Kosovo Clan broadcasts.
The channel's manager, Osama Rabin, has declared that on Friday, some 20,000 tons of sand had been removed around the arch, where the ship <x0Ever Given” is affected by the canal coast.
He at a media conference stressed that the ship's wheel had moved and that this is a good sign for them. He has also stressed that strong winds are making their work difficult.
This ship has blocked one of the world's most frequent waterways, this problem has changed the global market, the BBC writes.
