By contrast, the European Commission announced today that it has allocated 90m euros to Albania under the macro-financial assistance programme to fight the pandemic and the coronary.
According to the EC report, Albania is the eighth country to receive financial assistance from the 3 billion-euro package approved to help ten partner states and candidates become part of the EU. That is only half of the amount the EU has pledged to provide for Albania, or 180m euros.
