Health workers are tired of confronting the COVID-19 pandemic for almost a year now. They say worried about increasing the number of hospitalised patients with COVIDD-19, while additional protection measures against the virus are pro.

The chairman of the Oda of Doctors, Pleatat Sejdiu, has said health workers have begun to tire of this situation with pandemic and that already several times, they have warned about easing measures, but that no one has come to their aid.

It has shown that 1,000 and 338 doctors have so far been infected with COVID-19, until their fatigue has indicated to affect the delivery of health services.

The situation is currently manageable, but there is danger of overload, and repeat the August situation. We've been in this kind of constant pressure for a year. During this year, there has been half a month of relaxation, while fatigue has now begun to prevail. Part of doctors are not even specific. We're seeing complaints by the doctors' mid-terms about chronic fatigue that has started to affect their work, so in providing” services, he stressed for Express.

Sejdiu has said there will be new measures against COVID-19, although he has stressed that it is now unknown how much effect they will have.

“We'll be pros of new measures with certainty. As far as they can result, we can't know now, but that the damage to the virus has become too great during these days”, he has declared.

To Relief Anti - Measures - CO VID, the Ministry of Health had not consulted the Adviser Board for COVID-19 either. Members of this board had criticised the ministry for facilitating the measures until the decision was made and considered political.

While, from the beginning of this year until now, an increase in hospitalised cases has been seen in public health institutions.

Until 524 patients were extended to these institutions on January 6th of this year, 674 patients are currently hospitalised.

In the report provided by the Kosovo University Hospital Hospital Service, it is known that 674 patients are hospitalised today in regional hospitals and in the 5 KKUKUAK clinics, where patients are being treated with COVID-19.

5 of these patients are in respiratory, 28 in noninvasive mechanical ventilation and 474 oxygen.

There are 103 patients in the Infectious Clinic today. While there are 106 patients at Prizren Hospital, in Gjakova 71, at the 67th Pec Hospital at the 79th Gjilan Hospital in Vushtrria 15, in Mitrovica 12, while at Ferizaj Hospital 34 patients.

Mayors don't need additional measures

While health workers are demanding additional measures, mayors oppose that.

The executive director of the Kosovo Commission Association, Saban Ibrahimi, has told Express that the number of infected in relation to the percentage of tests conducted is not large.

He has stated that health directors in municipalities have indicated that the actual measures are adequate, but only need to be monitored more strictly.

“We have in the discussion we have had with the municipal director of Health, which has the major burden on non-proliferation commitment to COVID-19, as 15 percent of the cases of the infected are sent to KKUKU, and 85 percent at the local level is concluded that the measures are adequate, but should be monitored more strictly”, he said.

Ibrahim has said further that mayors besides public health are also thinking about the economy.

The mayors of municipalities are responsible for the citizens, in addition to public health, are also thinking about economics. Municipal emergency stations are holding regular anti-aligned meetings - CO VID, and in all these meetings, the situation is estimated to be manageable”, he added.

While, incumbent Health Minister Armend Zemaj has said the same anti-minor measures - CO VID will continue to be in force.

However, he has warned more rigorous measures if the number of infected people with this virus increases
