DNV has called on the state prosecutor to initiate investigations and take adequate measures not to allow the deformation of voter will due to allegations of counterfeiting votes within the CNR.

Full announcement:

During yesterday's media day there has been a covert audio and video recording, where three persons allegedly discuss the counterfeiting of votes of political subject candidates at the Voter Counting Centre.

Audio and video recording shows how the vote counter gives the prize for changing votes within candidates on the list of a political subject. The suspect also shows how much money he and two other people within the QNR had received to change the votes of a Kosovo Assembly MP candidate so that she could become part of the VIII legislature.

Democracy in Action called on the State Prosecutor to urgently begin investigations and take adequate measures not to allow the deformation of the will of voters due to allegations of counterfeiting votes within the CNR.

The prosecution must act in co-operation with the Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashta, the Central Election Commission and the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission, in the direction of the find and arrest of persons allegedly counterfeiting the outcome of the vote.

DnV called on all candidates for MPs who may have doubts about stealing votes or forging results, in addition to complaints at the PZAP, to co-operate with the State Prosecutor in terms of uncovering works that deviate the will of Kosovo citizens.
