The appointment of the new Customs director has remained in the division of the new government, respectively, of the new finance minister, Kosovo Preress reports.

Kosovo customs, for more than a year, has remained without a director, and continues to be managed with task manager since the dismissal of director Bahri Berisha from the Kurti government 1 on 12 February 2020.
Bahri Berisha was appointed director by the Haradinaj government on the basis of a competition that was held with the assistance of BDO, the company engaged by the British Embassy to provide assistance to Kosovo institutions in recruiting high positions.
While, for the election of ATK director, incumbent Minister Krasniqi said there has been no process of selection, and even this position, as he says, has remained to be resolved by the new government.
For the next Monday, meanwhile, it is scheduled to hold the constitutional hearing for the election of the new chairman and government, which is expected to be Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
