But despite that, Daut Haradinaj made a decision to give up the post of Kosovo deputy, thus allowing someone else to be part of the opposition under the AAK.
Shemsedin Dresaj will be deputy of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo that will replace Daut Haradinaj.
Haradinaj, among other things, had stated that he would be present in the municipalities for the fact that in the autumn there would be new municipal elections and that commitment on the ground was required of the structures.

But, Daut Haradinaj has declared he will not run to lead the Decani municipality, even though such a thing was previously warned by his brother, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj.

“We are mobilised to have a positive result in the autumn of this year”, Haradinaj said further.
Changes in politics are expected to take place even in terms of municipalities. Political parties will also face a significant race, that of leadership of municipalities.
In the autumn elections, it will be understood which of the parties will run more municipalities and whether more citizens will support the candidates within the party it belongs to, or only for the candidate it is.
The AAK currently heads some of the country's municipalities, which remains to be seen if it will still be directed by Decanin and other municipalities.
