Dardan Molliq writes a disturbing letter to Lumir Abdixhiku

Through this open letter, Moliqaj has sought out the LDK structures that are most attentive on the issue of electing the president to Kosovo.

“We are concerned about the consequences of the country's democratic life that would produce the election of Vjosa Osmani Presidente. After this moment, the parliamentary opposition will lose its importance, and the Parliament will resemble the monist congregations. Kosovo, for the first time after the war, risks all instances of power ending in an address”, Moliqaj has written.

But that's not the main problem yet. This acumulation of power is behind an ideology that is totalitarian in question and organization. The LDK has the power to stop this. The burden for the formation of institutions in each democracy starts by the winners, especially when the winner has a single majority”, he writes away.

Open letter to LDK chairman

Your Honor. Obadiah,

Your choice at the helm of the LDK has been well received in citizens and public opinion. On the other hand, your willingness to lead with the subject at a difficult time like this seems encouraging. Methats, as I believe you are conscious, positive expectations relate more to the future and the way forward than to the present situation.

I don't want to sound expected to say that I have any words about what decisions the LDK has to make. I can't even do the hypocrite like I want the best for LDK. But there is a reason beyond that that makes me interested in the LDK's role and position.

The country as never before needs opposition, but also maintaining and balancing powers. To our conviction, the power of the slogan “Cret and Direct” is the reason for concern on two plains: the risk of democracy presenting the lack of balances of power; and the second is totalitarian diskours, the discurs that excludes the truth from the discussion, basing and related to the promised subject of history. The first problem relates to decisions made in the LDK, but will affect the country effectively. The party already has all the power, government with everything Kosovo manages the government with. Sending the president's institutions to the party would complete life of the Party-Seven notion.

On the other hand, the second problem is what we heard as reasoning. They're an expression of acceptance of the hegemony of the disk that imposed power “With an attitude that enables Vjosa Osman to be elected president, you tell us the charges of conspiracy of the last 2 years against you have been true.

Election facts have not rarely proved to be a dark starting point for the world and societies. However, discernment and persistence do not allow them to be translated into the totality of public space, disinformation, and politics. We are convinced that the opposition is not simply a lack of participation in government. In our situation, a critical and active opposition is the condition of democracy.

The particular condition to be critical of totalitarian thinking is its rejection in principle. The moment we recognize it as a legitimate and moral appeal the charge that comes from it will result in flooding in the plea effort. This criticism, to open the closed horizon, has to have clear demarcation lines, but also criticism, action, and it's beyond and unlike power-game exercises. The opposition should not be an illustration or a test of the clothes, issues or charges of power.
