High figures presented on daily bases are also in Pristina.
The director of Health in Pristina's municipality, Bujar Gashi, has spoken about the situation with covid-19. He said the number of active cases tripled in recent months, making it difficult to provide services in primary health care.
The “in January we had about a thousand active cases, and in February there was a greater opportunity of managing even cases with Covid-19 but also the delivery of other services that are offered in primary health care”, Gashi told RTV21.
But now two months, approximately three months after we have record figures. About 3,500 active cases in the capital. Within two months we have managed to triple the number of active cases in capital”, he adds.
“This is an increase of probability and greater opportunity to distribute Covid-19 because the greater the number of active cases, the greater the opportunity to distribute them and the harder the management of the situation in the capital”, he stressed.
Gashi has made it known that from this Monday at all Family Medicine Centres in Pristina will be worked 12 hours on schedule.
“will not be worked in two shifts but will be worked in a 12-hour shift. No citizens will remain without service”, Gashi said.
