US Ambassador to Kosovo Philip Kosnett has reacted after the arrest of eight policemen on the part of the police inspectorate. Kostett has written that he is impressed that after reporting citizens institutions have reacted.
No one should be above the law. Today thanks to brave citizens, the police inspectors have arrested eight police officials. This followed a one-year co-operative investigation by the Police Inspectorate, Kosovo Police and the Prosecutor's Office. It is encouraging to see institutions reacting after citizen reporting and acting on a citizen's report and holding officials responsible. If you see anything, say something”, it wrote Costnet.
