Citizens from Presevo hope for economic development, recognition of diplomas from Kosovo

The election process for voting of the new chairman and 38 advisers in the Municipal Assembly is continuing in Presevo. Gastronomia and shopping malls are now closed in this municipality for more than two weeks. In the meantime, these extraordinary choices are being organized under pandemic conditions.
Qani Haliti says he feels disappointed with the situation in Presevo. The one for Kosova Prees shows that today he and his family have come to vote for change.
I took my whole family by car today and we came to vote. Our expectations are great, so far I am not satisfied with some leaders... recently I have returned completely disappointed with Kosovo, because even seeing leaders who have been, they have not shown an interest in the population in Presevo”, he points out.
resident of Presevo, Rexhep Bektashi, says they have many requests to run local governance as yet.
Economic development, employment, construction, good something... Depends on how it works, I hope”, he said.
Adrian Hajdini, who now lives in Presevo for 53 years, does not believe much that will improve the situation in the valley.
“Requests are first to open jobs, factories, employment for youth, not abroad. That they're all lying... We don't believe anything.
Shaban Kadriu says he expects changes for the better, since he feels that the basics are missing too.

38 voting units in Presevo are open until 8:00. Voter rights have about 42,000 citizens. Six Albanian political parties and the coalition of Serbian parties united on the SNS list compete in these elections.
