The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has requested the measure of detention against the A.K. and S. M, due to the suspicion that the same acts have been committed by “The use of official duty during the elections”, by Article 211 and “Vania or taking bribes in connection with voting” by Article 212 of KPR.
Arber Krasniqi and Sahit Mataj are the two commissioners who have been arrested for manipulation of votes at the Recounting Centre and Results.
Days ago, the video recording was published, featuring vote manipulations, part of which is suspected to be Dardan Stublla, the husband of former Kosovo diplomat and AAK MP candidate Melza Haradinaj Stublla.
Following these reports, Haradinaj Stublla resigned from the position of foreign minister and Diaspora on Tuesday, and from all positions in the AAK.
Many other candidates for MPs from political subjects have expressed dissatisfaction, many of whom have called for total recounting of votes.
