Brit accepted Islam after a trip to Turkey

Influenced by the environment of the Sultan Ahmet Mosque in Istanbul, also known as the Blue Mosque, during a tour of Turkey two years ago, 24-year-old Aisha Rosalie from Britain began her research about Islam and later dedicated her life to promoting Islam. Rosalie for Anadolu confessed [...]
Rosalie for Anadolu confessed her life story from being a person who lived with the dream of becoming an actress until she discovered Islam in Istanbul.
Before I became a Muslim, I had no religion. I believed there was a God. I remember as a child I've always talked to God”, she said.
Rosalie said her parents “were not religious”, adding that she had never recognised any religious person before she moved to Islam, writes Anadolu, broadcast the clancosova.
When I came to Turkey, I had no intention of finding religion. I went to Google and found out that they had a Blue Glass and I thought maybe I could look at”, she said.
Rosalie said it was a really frightened “because she” didn't have a good idea” for Muslims, because all her information came from Western media.
This was the only view of Islam I had”, she added.
Finding Peace
Before visiting the mosque, she went to a local store and bought a headscarf, since “wanted to behave respectfully”.
I didn't want to offend anyone by having their hair exposed. I thought people would be mad at me. So I bought a headscarf just to visit the” mosque, she said.
She said she encountered religious material on Islam, but at that time she did not know what the material meant.
I didn't know to pronounce it”, she added.
Rosalie says she has just entered Sultan Ahmeti Mosque, has taken up the carpet and started reading some prayers.
For about an hour, I just sat there doing the carpet. I was just looking around the glass. It was so beautiful and so quiet, I just couldn't believe it. And I was looking at the people who prayed in the space before me. I was so overwhelmed by beauty and peace within the mosque. No one was yelling at me, nobody was misbehaved to me, I was so shocked”, she said.
Then Rosalie says that she requested copies of the holy Qur'an after leaving the mosque on her way to the hotel.
And I thought to myself, maybe, I'll take a copy and read it”, she said, adding that she bought an English translation of Kur '%an and started reading it in her hotel room.
Then Rosalie says that she continued to read the Koran even after she returned to the United Kingdom until the entire book was completed.
It took me several months and during that time I did a lot of research on Islam, and I looked at a lot of speeches. And two months later I declared Shahadet and became a Muslim. Elhamdullah, this was my trip”, she says.
“All things changed in life”
Everything changed in my life”, she stressed.
Noting that the “family was very insecure” about its decision to accept Islam, Rosalie said her mother was surfing the internet looking for information for Muslims and sharing it with her.
This forced me to learn more to make him understand beauty, peace, everything behind Islam”, she said.
Rosalie stressed that she thinks personal character is the best “form” call to Islam.
It's the best way to get people to religion. Because I think that through my character I helped him understand the beauty of Islam. I've talked to him more, I've tried to be more generous to him, because in our religion this is important”, Rosalie said.
We have parents. We have to take care of them, we have to be good with them”, she added.
I felt like I was born again”
Rosalie stressed that the arrival to Turkey was “one of the main reasons” why she became Muslim.
This is because I saw good Muslims, people with good character. They made me think: I want to be like that person. It made me better. It made me happier. I felt like I was born again. I wanted a new beginning. I wanted to abandon my sins”, she said.
Speaking of her life before accepting Islam, Rosalie said she had trained to become an actress.
Stressing that this was her “dream” for the longest time, Rosalie said she started acting when she was 14.
So, I was acting for a while and trained in Los Angeles, I lived in America. That was my whole life-style, that was my dream for years. I've done several scenarios, as well as I've also made a director”, she added.
After accepting Islam, she left that dream to deal with her channel on YouTube where she posts Islamic content.
I want to help people move towards religion. And I post many stories of Islam accession as well. So promoting things that will help people in their religion is my goal”, she said.
Speaking at Sultan Ahmet Square in Istanbul, she said: “I am absolutely pleased to be here. It's where I discovered Islam. It was the first Muslim country I ever went to”.
I came back here for a reason. I returned with my husband and wanted to show the amazing locations in Istanbul, Turkey. And people here are so incredible. It's so beautiful here, it's so amazing”, it's over.
