The State Secretary has been committed to the Western Balkans issue for a long time. For the Western Balkans, the European perspective remains a priority for both the EU and the United States,” said Borrell after the meeting.
He stressed that the EU and the US will work together and avoid any kind of “competition to support reconciliation, improve governance, sustainability and key reforms that will enable the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU.
