Whenever the Parliament session is held for the election of the new Kosovo president, the Serb community, namely, the Serbian List will not vote for Kosovo presidential candidate Vjosa Osmani.
Within this political subject, they have indicated that no MP from the Serbian List will give their votes for president.
The cause for this, according to these sources, has become Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti himself.
Our list position is more than clear. There will be no vote for anyone. You already know that the Serbian List has handed over to the Constitutional Court “since Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in case he does not hand over two ministries belonging to the Serbian List”, has said a source from this list, wanting to remain anonymous.
The newspaper Blic has tried talking to Serbian List officials, but currently they don't speak to the media.
Adem Hodza is a deputy from this list, which already circulates information about non-official that he may be one of them who can vote for Vjosa Osman.
All that is known is that the Democratic League of Kosovo, which was part of which Vjosa Osmani was late, has made a decision to stay in the hall at the moment the president's vote comes to the coalition.
Lumir Abdugjiku, the new LDK chairman, has called for a unique stance by the LDK parliamentary group, but that the odds are small for the group to obey.
Agim Veliu, Driton Selmanaj, and Avdullah Hoti have a sworn stance that they will never vote Vjosa Osman for Kosovo president.
But based on a simple math, it would be that if 58 Vetvendosje Movement deputies, 9 from other communities and 15 from LDK, then Vjosa Osmani had the quorum to elect presidents.
But if any of the LDK deputies fail, then Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with Vjosa Osmani, must convince three or four deputies from other parties to secure over 80 votes.
The LDK has decided yesterday to support Vjosa Osman for president of the country, though some MPs from this party oppose the former head of the Parliament to come to the head of the state.
So far, votes that will not give to Vjosa Osmani have been declared by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and now the Serbian List.
